Department of International Economic Relations

The Department of International Economic Relations was founded in Kharkiv University (since October 1999 V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University) in 1998. At first, its name was International Economics and International Economic Relations, but after opening the speciality (major) of Tourism it was renamed into the Department of International Economic Relations, Area Studies and Tourism. After the foundation of the School of International Economic Relations and Travel Business, the Department served as the basis for creating the Department of International Economic Relations and the Department of Travel Business. The Department provides postgraduate programs. There is also the Center for International Humanitarian Cooperation and External Economic Relations of the Region working under the Department of International Economic Relations.
