Research

The School of International Economic Relations and Travel Business has a powerful research and teaching potential. About 100 highly qualified scholars and lecturers work here. They participate in scientific research and innovation projects, organize science conferences and have the results of their work published in scholarly editions of the University, Ukraine and other countries.

In order to liven up the process of training high-qualification faculty, the School provides postgraduateprograms and has a Thesis Committee (Thesis Committee K 64.051.25) entitled to consider and defend candidate’s theses for the academic degree of Candidate of Economics in the speciality (major) 08.00.02 – World Economy and International Economic Relations.

Together with the specialists from the School of Economics the School issues V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University Bulletin, Economics Series. In 2012 the School established V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University Bulletin, Series “International Relations, Economics, Area Studies, Tourism”.
