Under the guidance of Sweden Ambassy, the Karazin University has held a meeting of its students with the Swedish diplomats headed by the Ambassador, Director of the Internship Program for diplomats of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sweden, Mrs. Helena Pilsas-Alin. The meeting took place with the participation of Vice-President Zarif Nazyrov who stressed that Sweden could become another European country for the University students to undertake an internship.
“The relations between Sweden and Ukraine are considerably developing in the practical domain. That is why I urge you to communicate and exchange your experience,” said the First Secretary of the Swedish Embassy in Ukraine, David Emtestam.
The students of the School of International Economic Relations and Travel Business, the School of Economics, the School of Sociology (specialities: “Media Communications” and “Political Science”) and the School of Philology (speciality: “Journalism”) met with the diplomats. The Swedish party representives were young diplomats who have been working in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sweden for several years. They visited Brussels and Oslo, and chose Kharkiv as the final place for their diplomatic traineeship. According to the participants, it was interesting for them to meet the young generation of Ukrainians and establish relations with their future colleagues.
