Initiation into Studentry of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University
Dear friends! Let us congratulate you on the beginning of the new academic year!
The long awaited day has come, and we have returned to our beloved University. Good education has always been an attribute of an intelligent person. Therefore, Knowledge Day is a holiday marking the opportunity of adequate intelligence and personality development. For our School, this academic year is specialbecause we have enrolled a record number of first-year students (284) . Moreover, we have opened two new specialities: Area Studies and International Business. Besides, the School of International Economic Relations and Travel Business is celebrating its 10th anniversary.
We would like to wish our students success in their studies, insatiable desire for knowledge, new scientific and creative achievements! May our faculty members be healthy, patient, optimism and successful in their hard and responsible job!
as is the tradition, today first-year students have undergone their initiation into studentry. The ceremony took place with the participation of University President Vil Bakirov, Vice-Presidents , school deans, faculty members and first-year students. The President made a solemn speech, lit the fire of knowledge, and the University Choir performed the students' anthem Gaudeamus igitur . That is how one of the best universities of the country spent its first day of studies.
