On December 13, 2013, the Department of International Law held a round-table discussion for students and faculty dedicated to Human Rights Day celebrated all over the world on December 10.
First- and second-year students majoring in the International Law presented their reports followed by a lively debate on the topics under discussion.
The event participants touched upon the world declarations, conventions, protocols and other international documents on protection of human rights; they voiced their opinions as to improvement of the current legislation in Ukraine in terms of the mechanism and the guarantees of human rights protection in our country.
