Consolidated Ranking of Universities of Ukraine: Karazin University in the Forefront
The Osvita. ua information resource has drawn up a consolidated ranking of higher educational universities of Ukraine. The ranking covers 269 participating educational institutions.
By the ranking results, V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University holds the II place. In the two subcategories of the ranking covering the TOP-10 institutions from the ones ranking highest in the main list, Karazin University holds the second place among the classical universities and the first place among higher educational institutions of the eastern region of Ukraine, Kharkiv and Kharkiv oblast.
The Osvita. ua used the data from the national and international rankings that are the most authoritative among experts and media, namely TOP-20 Ukraine, which considers the direct measurement indicator, expert evaluation of training quality by employers and academic community, and international scientometric and webometric data;the Scopus taking into account the number of scientists’ publications and their citations; the Webometrics analyzing the scope of the presence of the university’s activities in the Internet.
