Open Doors' Day in Karazin University

V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University held the Open Doors’ Day, during which the future students and their parents talked to the direction of the university, faculties, departments and to the members of the selection committee, they have watched a film about the university and got acquainted with the presentation booklets faculties.

Future students were greeted by the rector, the academician Vil Bakirov, who stressed the importance of a balanced and prudent approach in choosing the university: "I am confident that in a while most of you are going to get your student tickets, including the one of the V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University - the oldest University in Ukraine. Its history is older than 200 years. It is very important. The older the university gets, the longer history it has, the stronger its traditions are, the more scientific schools, teaching and research experience it has."

On peculiarities of the entrance campaign in 2016 said the executive secretary of the selection committee, the Associate Professor Olga Anoschenko. The dates of stages of the entrance campaign, list of documents, required for entry were announced and the attention was paid to the innovations.

At the end of the event there were meetings with deans, professors and students, during which the applicants learned about the history and life of the individual departments, especially about the educational process. In addition, everyone had the opportunity to participate in the University competitions in mathematics, physics, in the subject "Man and Society" and "Health Basics", and also to take part in the workshop "How to pass ZNO in History of Ukraine on 200 points."
