The Representatives of IER and TB – the participants of the International Youth Forum "Ukraine in the world, the world about Ukraine"

On March 25th, 2016, the representatives of the School of International Economic Relations and Travel Business took part in the International Scientific Youth Forum “Ukraine in the world, the world about Ukraine”, that took place in the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs in Ukraine.

The plenary part of the forum was opened by the rector of the Academy Vyacheslav Tsivatyy. Also the reports to the audience were brought by Borys Tarasyuk, the MP of Ukraine, Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Foreign Affairs, the former Minister for Foreign Affairs in Ukraine. He outlined the main challenges that rose before Ukraine and the world.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Ukraine Manozh Kumar Bharti presented the specific suggestions and the directions of Ukrainian-Indian economic relations. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Macedonia to Ukraine Stole Zmeyekosky outlined the positive dynamics of Ukrainian-Macedonian diplomatic relations. The coordinator of the NATO-Ukraine Professional Development Programme’s Liaison Office in Ukraine Ove Urup-Mendes told about the Office’s activities in social and youth policy, and also spoke about jointly implemented programs with the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine. Professor of Foreign Policy and Diplomacy State Agrarian University Sergey Troyan presented his report concerning image policyand foreign policy image of Ukraine.

After the plenary meeting the representatives of the school were efficiently working in thematic roundtables over the matters of:

  • Ukrainian economic diplomacy: history, perspectives, personalities.

  • Challenges of the XXI century and modern diplomacy.

  • Diplomatic instruments of national security provision.

  • Ukraine between regionalism and globalism: Challenges of Ukrainian diplomacy.
