The Round Table concerning the Public Interaction in solving Social Problems of the Region
VN Karazin Kharkiv National University had held a round table with a title «Public interaction in solving social problems of the region on the exampleof a movement “Let's Make Ukraine clean together! “» with the participation of Kharkiv City Council, Kharkiv Youth City Council, national and international representatives of public organizations and institutions, leaders of student government, community activists and volunteers.
The prospect of all-Ukrainian movement "Let's Make Ukraine clean together" were introduced by its main coordinator and president of the NGO Let's do it Ukraine Yulia Marhel: "In 2016., in addition to a massive spring cleaning, during the year, we are planning to carry out a set of measures aimed at raising environmental awareness among the population. For this purpose, we seek to unite the public, government and business. "
The current environmental issues were discussed: energy efficiency, garbage sorting, recycling and more. In addition, the participants took part in the training "Scaling of the local social projects to the level of regional significance, the instruction of implementation."
The Associate Professor of the Department of IER Olga Chichina and the School of IER and TB student Darya Borisenko took part in the work of round table.
