Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary in Ukraine Mihály Bayer Visited Karazin University

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary in Ukraine Mihály Bayer paid a working visit to Karazin University.

During the visit Mr. Bayer had a meeting with Karazin University Vice-President Z. F. Nazyrov, Director of the Center for International Cooperation O. O. Shapovalova and visited University History Museum. Mr. Bayer also gave a lecture to University students and faculty on: EU-Ukraine Relations. “Ukraine and Hungary have a lot in common and that is why we consider it to be our moral duty to support your country on its way to European integration,” said Mihály Bayer.

During the meeting Mr. Bayer told about such advantages of being a member-state of the European Union as common values and interests, common market, coordinated foreign policy, common currency, economic coordination, Schengen area, energy policy, etc.
