Karazin University Winter Ball
To mark St. Nicholas Day, Karazin University held its first winter ball called to give children a fairy-tale and excite bright emotions in everybody present. The ball was a charity event organized on the initiative of the School of International Economic Relations and Travel Business and the Primary Trade Union Organization of Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral Student, bringing together University students, alumni, faculty, administration and guests.
University President Vil Bakirov wished those present a Happy New Year and a Merry Christmas filled with a lot of wonderful emotions, spiritual rishness and inspiration. Mr. Bakirov expressed his hope that the ball would gather enough funds for the orphan asylum.
The pairs of debutants performed two waltzes directed by professional choreographers. The University musical ensembles and soloists, as well as the children’s choreographic team Iskry Shou (Show Sparks) presented their performances to the audience.
The charitable auction University’s Heritage exhibited objects connected with Karazin University. The money collected from the sale of the lots will be used to purchase the essentials for Zmiiv orphan asylum.
At the end of the event, everyone willing took part in the master-class in Viennese waltz from the participant of the show Everybody Dance Now, Mykhailo Malakhov.
