The International Monetary Fund Resident Representative in Ukraine, Jerome Vacher, has visited Karazin University where he attended the meeting with the delegation of the School of IER and TB on the 3rd of September.
During the lecture Jerome Vacher gave the analysis of the Ukrainian fiscal policy, he estimated the amount of the external debt of our country and proposed a few ways of how to decrease this rate, also, he characterized the structure and the activity of the International Monetary Fund, and sharing its representatives’ attitude to the current situation in Ukraine, particularly in its ecomony, “Today’s crisis should be regarded as a unique opportunity for reformation, with the international community’s support playing the crucial role in this process.”
The meeting was finished in a fiery discussion, during which the Karazin students had demonstrated the high level of English and their knowledge of modern economy processes.
