The Student Scientific Society of the School of International Economic Relations and Travel Business has begun a series of meetings with distinguished Kharkivites.
The first guest was Deputy Prosecutor of Dzerzhynskyi district of Kharkiv, Candidate of Law S.F. Zdorovko.
Within the meeting framework S.F. Zdorovko gave a lecture on novations in the new criminal and procedural code of Ukraine effective as of November 20, 2012. The lecturer pointed out that adopting this code is an important step for development of democratic processes in our state, “I believe this code adoption to be a great democratic achievement.”
During the lecture S.F. Zdorovko briefly touched upon the historical process of development of the criminal and procedural code in Ukraine. He made a special emphasis on the fact that the new code norms stand in the defense of the constitutional foundations and therefore in the defense of human rights.
