Professor Vadym Sidorov Becomes an Honorary Member of the All-Ukrainian Non-Governmental Organization “Ukrainian Association of International Economists”

On September 20, 2013, Professor Vadym Sydorov, Dean of the School of International Economic Relations and Travel Business receives a certificate of a honorary member of the All-Ukrainian Non-Governmental Organization “Ukrainian Association of International Economists”.

Congratulations to Professor Sydorov on receiving this outstanding award! May success attend him in his academic and scientific endeavors!

For reference.The Association started its active work in March 2010 with the organization of a student contest entitled “World Economy and International Economic Relations”, the participants of which were 56 students from 17 Ukrainian regions. Their works covered such topical issues as “Global Economic Crisis”, “Economic Convergence between Ukraine and EU”, “Labor Migration in Post-Soviet Countries”, “Investment Policy in Ukraine”, “Technological Modernization in Increasing Competitiveness of Ukraine”, “Development of Tourism in Ukraine”, etc.

The purpose of the Association activities is consolidation of effort, intellectual and material resources of educational institutions, research institutions and economic agents in increasing the quality of international economists' training and qualification of lecturers in their respective subjects, creation of favorable conditions for organizing scientific discussions and fundamental research in Ukrainian economic science in the sphere of international relations and globalization processes.

The Association also aims at comprehensively contributing to formation of a business community in Ukrainian society as well as training of public servants responsible for shaping the foreign economic policy of the country and creating a modern outlook as to the place and role of the state in the integration process of the national economy into the world economy and Ukraine's engagement in the world globalization processes.
