IER and TB Students to Take Part in European Parliament Plenary Session

The students of the School of International Economic Relations and Travel Business, Maryna Bykova and Mykola Kravets, participated in the 2016 European Youth Event (EYE) in Strasbourg as members of the international team Young Force Awakens that took place on May 20-21.

The European Parliament European hosts the Youth Event every two years. The purpose is to provide the young people interested in politics and international relations, with a platform to exchange ideas and views on youth-related issues with the European scholars, public and political figures.

The participating students spoke at panel discussions about EU integrity and programs of scientific potential development for the next decade. Karazin University Students also visited the European Parliament and the Council of Europe, took part in the plenary session and had a chance to communicate with the Vice-President of the European Parliament, Mairead McGuinness.
