Pre-University Training

Since 1995 pre-university training has been provided by the University through the Center for Pre-University Education, comprising preparatory courses and the Distance Learning School with its branches working in the district centers of Kharkiv and other regions of Ukraine, and Minor Karazin University.

Preparatory courses and the Distance Learning School provide quality training in all the subjects required for Independent Knowledge Assessment as well as psychological adaptation of future University entrants. Preparatory courses yearly provide training for over 1,000 students on the daily (Saturdays and Sundays), evening and distance forms of studies.

Minor Karazin University invites pupils of all forms (classes) to lessons conducted in various fields of science by author’s methodologies. Its students are successful participants in competitions and contests on different levels. Year after year within the framework of Day of Science of Ukraine, a summarizing conference of Minor Karazin University is held for young scholars to present their researches.

The Center aims not only to train pupils for university enrollment but also to promote education on the whole, to popularize scientific achievements, to develop the creative potential of our youth and to find and support talented children assisting them in their further education.
